Application :
For heavy duty tile like natural stones & large format tiles on Internal and external applications, can be used for tile on tile applications as well as swimming pool tiling applications.
Mixing :
Add clean water to ferro 1122 and mix thoroughly until a slump free mortar is obtained. A 20kg bag will require approximate 4-6 Ltrs. of water. The adhesive is immediately ready for use and has a pot life of 1.5-2 hrs. No further water should be added.
1. Spread no more than 1 sq.m at a time apply the adhesive to the wall
or floor surfaces
2. Comb the adhesive to the required depth between 1-3 mm using a
suitable trowel
3. Press the tiles firmly in to position with a slight twisting action checking
periodical that good contact is maintained with the back of each tile
leave no voids behind tiles when solid bed fixing
4. Tiles should be fixed within 20 minutes of adhesive being applied
depending on the porosity of the surface and atmospheric conditions.
Tiles can be adjusted up to 10-15 minutes after fixing
5. Leave adequate joints between individual wall and floor tiles unless self
spacing tiles are used
6. Clean off surplus adhesive from the tiles face and between joints
7. Do not use in damp conditions
