MIXING AND APPLICATION
ADHESIVE
Measure out 3 parts powder to 1 part
water by weight
Place some adhesive on the ribbed
edge of the trowel,
Put finger tips onto the adhesive. If
the adhesive sticks, continue tiling. If
it does not stick to fingers, scrape off
wall and apply new coat of adhesive
First mix a small amount of powder
with water and stir well, Add the
remaining powder to water / slurry
and continue stirring.
Trowel adhesive onto wall, holding
the trowel at about 45 0 degrees
to wall. You do not have to put any adhesive onto the tile.
Clean and polish the tiles with a
damp sponge or cloth.
Mix until adhesive is like a thick
cream. If too much liquid, add a
little more powder.
Slide and push tile into adhesive
with a twisting action. You can
directly take tile out of box and use.
Do not wet the tile before fixing.
GROUT
Add 1 part of water to 3 parts
of Grout by weight and mix well
to obtain a smooth and uniform paste
Fill and tool the mixed material
firmly without any breaks or
gaps in to the tile joints using
a squeegee / float. Utilize the
mixed material within 20 minutes
of mixing.
After the initial setting of the material
(30 minutes), remove the excess
material that may be present on the tile edges with a wet cloth or damp sponge.
